ABC has confirmed that Pushing Daisies has been...
CANCELLED!!!! *wails in despair* Good bye my sweet pie maker... I will miss you Ned..

Anyway.. so as we know there are 13 episodes in season 2 and after that its kaputs for the pushing daises crew. HOWEVER.... episode 13 is a cliffhanger and so they are in talks with DC Comics to continue the series as a comic AND there is even talks of a possible movie in the future.

It is so sad.. Pushing Daisies was such a unique show. You have never seen anything like it on TV and it's such a shame that they just couldn't get viewers back after the writer's strike. It's a shame to see such a creative, critically acclaimed, and overall enjoyable show have to go.

I recommend everyone go to ABC.com and watch a few of the full episodes there or even go to your rental store and see if they have season one for rent or buy it! You won't regret it.. I'm telling you.. in my opinion it was so refreshing to see something on TV that was so.. different... not just a run of the mill sitcom. The colors, the writing, the direction, the costumes, its so fantastic. Not to mention the incredibly talented Jim Dale, of Harry Potter Audio Book Fame, does such a wonderful job narrating.

I am very sad that my favorite show has been cancelled but, more then that I just want people to watch it and see what they missed out on, to see how great ideas are still possible out there as far as the small screen is concerned.

So please please please give the show a chance, it may be the end as far as ABC is concerned but Pushing Daisies is not dead yet we will see it resurrected in some other form later I'm sure of it. (heheh... get it.. dead.. resurrected.. harharhar... what? you don't get it.. oh it's cause you haven't bothered to watch it.. so WATCH IT so you can be in on my funniness...)
