It has been SOOOOOOOOO long guys! I'm so sorry I have not updated. I have been busy working on this costume here! TADAA!!! My Giselle dress! It is almost finished. Thought I would give you a teaser before the finishing touches are added.
Sooo it still needs to be hemmed at the bottom, lace added to the other side of the opening and I still have to add the center flower, the small flowers at the sleeves, and of course the ribbon.
Anyway! It has been a really REALLY long process with tons of trial and error. The pattern I hand drew/painted myself then scanned and printed on transfer sheets, then cut out, peeled the back off, and ironed them on.. each. and. every. piece. Took a thousand years.. literally.. I have a beard now. Anyway.. in the future I would like to embroider over it all but for now it turned out very well.
I have to thank my friend Liana over and over and over because she is SO AWESOME! She did most of the hard construction as I am complete crap at a sewing machine for anything beyond basic stuff. THANKS LIANA!!!!!
Anyway.. My wig is styled.. I have my boots.. everything is almost ready to go in time for AX!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Real vampires don't sparkle. They just don't.
